Information We Collect

When you use Repitair, we collect certain information to provide and improve our service. This may include:

  • Account information (email, username)
  • Device information (device type, OS version)
  • Usage data (features used, interactions)
  • Music metadata (song titles, artists)
  • Photos and other content you choose to upload or create
  • Connected music account identifiers and encrypted authorization tokens
  • IP address and location information

Analytics and Diagnostics

We use Mixpanel to understand product interactions and improve the app. We use Sentry to diagnose crashes, errors, and performance problems. Depending on how you use Repitair, these services may process a user identifier, account email, device and app information, interaction events, and technical diagnostics on our behalf.

We do not use this information for cross-app advertising and we do not sell personal information.

Service Providers

We use contracted providers for cloud hosting and storage, transactional email, analytics, diagnostics, and music account integrations. These providers process information only to deliver their services to Repitair and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations. Spotify and Apple process authorization on their own services under their respective privacy policies.

Data Retention and Security

We retain account and user-created content while your account remains active and as needed to operate, secure, and comply with legal obligations for the service. We use encrypted network connections and protect stored music authorization tokens with application-level encryption. No method of storage or transfer is completely secure, but we apply reasonable safeguards and limit access to systems that need the information.

Connected Music Accounts

If you choose to connect Spotify or Apple Music, authorization happens on the provider's official screen. Repitair never receives or stores your provider password. We store encrypted authorization tokens so we can retrieve playlist metadata that your connected account is already permitted to access.

A connection cannot reveal another person's private playlists. When you create a Repitair collection, we store only the normalized song metadata you selected. Collection recipients receive no access to the original private playlist and no audio is copied.

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide and maintain the Repitair service
  • Improve user experience and develop new features
  • Send important updates and notifications

  • Protect against fraud and secure your account

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business, subject to strict confidentiality agreements. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
